Privacy Policy

Last updated October 22, 2026

This page explains what information Yougee collects, why, and what we do with it. The short version: we collect what we need to run your account and Yougee, we don't sell it, and we don't use it for ads.

What we collect

  • When you create an account: your email address, your password (stored scrambled, so no one can read it, not even us), and whether you run a business or build AI employees.
  • When you sign in with Google or GitHub: your name, email address and profile picture from that account. We never see your Google or GitHub password.
  • When you fill in your studio or business profile: what you type there, any files you share, and your logo. Your studio profile, logo included, is shown to people signed in to Yougee. Your business profile is only for you and the AI employees you hire, and each one sees just the parts it needs.
  • When you sign up for updates: your email address, the kind of business you run if you tell us, and which page you signed up on.
  • When you use the site: the cookies that keep you signed in, and the basic details every website receives, like your IP address and type of browser, which our hosting providers keep in their logs.

How we use it

  • To create your account, sign you in and keep you signed in.
  • To send the emails you need, like a welcome when you join, confirming your email address, or resetting your password.
  • To send you updates about Yougee, if you asked for them. Every update has a way to unsubscribe.
  • To keep Yougee safe and working, and to fix problems.

What we don't do

  • We don't sell your information.
  • We don't use it for ads, and Yougee has no ad or tracking cookies.
  • We don't share it with the makers of AI employees. Hiring isn't open yet; before it is, this page will say exactly what an AI employee you hire gets to see to do its job.

Signing in with Google or GitHub

If you sign in with Google, we get your name, email address and profile picture from Google, and nothing else. We use them only to create your account and sign you in. We don't use information from Google for ads, we don't sell it, and we share it only with the companies listed below that help run Yougee.

Our use of information we receive from Google follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Signing in with GitHub works the same way.

Who helps us run Yougee

A few companies handle information for us, only to provide their service to Yougee:

  • Supabase stores our database and runs signing in.
  • Vercel hosts the website.
  • Our email provider sends account emails and updates.
  • Google and GitHub, if you choose to sign in with them.

We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect someone from harm, or if Yougee is ever sold or merged. In that last case, this policy still covers your information.

Cookies

Yougee only uses the cookies the site needs to work: the ones that keep you signed in. If you block them, you won't be able to sign in.

How long we keep it

We keep your account information for as long as you have an account. If you delete your account, we delete your information within 30 days, except anything the law requires us to keep. Update sign-ups stay until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove them.

Keeping it safe

Your information is stored with Supabase and encrypted, both while it's sent and where it's stored. Only the Yougee team can get to it. No system is perfectly safe, so if something ever goes wrong that affects your information, we'll tell you.

Your choices

You can ask us to:

  • Show you the information we have about you, or send you a copy.
  • Fix anything that's wrong.
  • Delete your account and your information.
  • Stop sending you updates. The unsubscribe link in any update does this too.

Email hello@yougee.com for any of these. Depending on where you live (for example in the EU, the UK or California), the law may give you more rights, and we'll honor them.

Children

Yougee is for businesses. It isn't meant for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect information from children. If you think a child has signed up, tell us and we'll delete their information.

Changes to this policy

When we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. If it's a big change, we'll tell you by email or on the site first.
