Delete your YouGee account

This page is for the YouGee travel app (yougee.com and the YouGee iOS / Android apps). Use it to request that your account and associated personal data are deleted.

How to request deletion

1. Open this page while signed in to YouGee on the web (https://yougee.com/delete-account), or open Delete account from your profile menu in the YouGee mobile app (it opens this page).
2. Sign in with the same Google or email account you use for YouGee, if you are not already signed in.
3. Read the data notice below, type DELETE to confirm, then tap Submit delete account request.

What happens after you submit

• We record your deletion request (email and account identifiers) so our team can process it
• You are signed out, and that email / account can no longer sign in or create a new YouGee account
• We manually remove associated account data (profile and saved trip plans) as part of processing the request

What is deleted when we process your request

• Your YouGee account profile (name, email, avatar linked to the account)
• Saved trip plans you own and their contents
• Trip memberships and pending email invites associated with your account

What may be kept

• The deletion-request record (request time, account id, and email) so we can process the request and keep the account from signing up again
• Aggregated, non-identifying analytics that cannot reasonably be linked back to you
• Data held by third-party providers you used outside YouGee (for example booking sites you opened) under their own policies

Timing

After you submit the request below, you lose access to YouGee with that account immediately. We process removal of associated personal data within 30 days (or sooner). The request record may be kept longer as needed to prevent re-registration and for legal or security purposes.
